Building pathways to inclusive education and employment

Road to Employment is about creating real opportunities for people with disability to move from school into meaningful, inclusive work.

We work with businesses, schools, government, and communities to raise expectations, shift attitudes, build inclusive systems and strengthen capability through training, mentoring, and collaboration.

Our work has two key areas:

By supporting both young people and workplaces, we’re building a stronger, more inclusive future for everyone.

For Businesses and Employers

We support businesses and employers at every stage of their inclusion journey. From business mentoring and training, to disability access checks and industry collaboration, our support is practical and tailored, helping pave the way for more equitable, inclusive workplaces.

Our team includes people with disability who bring their lived experience and professional insight to everything we do.

We offer:

  • Business mentoring – strategic support and planning
  • Inclusive recruitment training – build your knowledge and confidence
  • Disability access checks – practical advice to improve accessibility
  • Communities of practice – connect with others in aged care, finance, or local government
  • University mentoring – direct connection between employers and students with disability
  • Toolkit for Business – free online resources to support disability inclusion

Inclusive education

Raising expectations for every student

The road to employment starts early – before a child even starts school, when parents and caregivers start making decisions about where and how their children will receive an education.

We support families, educators and schools to raise expectations, promote inclusion, and build confidence in every student’s future.

We work with schools to shift attitudes and strengthen inclusive practice.

Our Raising the Bar workshops are designed for:

  • Educators
  • Parents and caregivers of students with disability.
