Lily Durkin
Project Leader, Disability Inclusion Training
I am the Project Leader for Disability Inclusion Training. I have lived experience as a physically disabled woman and have been a disability advocate for more than 10 years. I have always been drawn to community advocacy work and supporting other people with disability to connect! When I’m not working with Disability Inclusion Training, I am continuing my own advocacy work, studying my Bachelor of Psychology (while drinking lots of coffee) and going on fun adventures with my partner and two little ones!

Ayla Regione
Project Officer
I work with people to create inclusive and accessible workplaces. My hope is for people to feel they can thrive, in every way possible, when it comes to their chosen education and career, goals and adventures in life. I get excited when I hear stories or moments that celebrate this and believe it has the power to create meaningful and positive change. In my downtime, I love sports, travelling, food and relaxing with my family at the beach.

Lauren Roffey
Project Officer, Disability Inclusion Training
I’m a qualified educator with a background supporting students with diverse disabilities across a range of school settings in South Australia. In 2018, my life changed following a workplace accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury (TBI) – an experience that has shaped both my personal and professional journey over the past seven years.
Since 2020, I’ve worked with JFA Purple Orange as a casual facilitator in the Disability Inclusion Training team, delivering workshops that support organisations to become more inclusive of the disability community. More recently, I’ve been fortunate to step into a Project Officer role within the team, helping to develop new workshop content.
I’m also a passionate advocate, mentor, writer, and speaker in the TBI and concussion space. I dedicate my time to raising awareness, sharing knowledge, and helping bridge the gap between the brain injury community and the broader non-disabled population.
Outside of work and advocacy, I have a lifelong love of dance. I’ve competed nationally in both ballet and Irish dancing for more than 20 years.
Noella Angel
Facilitator, Disability Inclusion Training
At JFA Purple Orange, I support people to better understand disability and how we can all work together to make schools, workplaces, and communities more inclusive. I enjoy creating spaces where people feel safe to ask questions, reflect, and grow.
My favourite part of the job is seeing those lightbulb moments—when people start to build their inclusive skills and positive change begins to take shape.
As an above-knee amputee with a rare vascular condition (AV Malformation) and ADHD, I bring my own lived experience to this work. I believe the most powerful learning happens when people hear directly from those who’ve lived it.
Outside of work, I’m an international para ice hockey player, horse rider, and I run Aussie stockwhip clinics. I’m always chasing the next adventure and love inspiring others along the way.

Olivia Isherwood
Facilitator, Disability Inclusion Training
I’m a Facilitator in the Disability Inclusion Training team, where I support people to learn more about disability inclusion and how we can create more welcoming communities together.
I was first introduced to the disability community after my Autism diagnosis in 2021, which sparked a strong passion for sharing my story and supporting other people with disability. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to speak at events, appear in the media, and contribute to a range of projects and co-design groups.
My favourite part of this role is that I’m always learning and deepening my understanding – especially through listening to the experiences of other people with disability.
Outside of work, I’m studying a Bachelor of Disability and Community Inclusion at Flinders University. I also enjoy making art (especially printmaking and pottery), playing video and board games, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
