The Purple Orange Podcast features people with disability, sharing a combination of conversations, stories, and ideas about disability, inclusion, and social change. Produced by Carey Scheer and hosted by Belle Owen — a proud disabled woman and disability advocate — the podcast was a finalist in the 2024 Australian Podcasting Awards.
We produce six episodes per year, released on the first Friday of the month from July to December. Episodes are often reshared on other podcast platforms, helping the stories we share reach an even wider audience.
