Join us for the first online meeting of our Education Community of Practice where we will be sharing information to help you feel confident to talk about disability with your students.
Meetings are facilitated by people with disability, who bring a wealth of knowledge of disability and education from their own personal and professional lives, with a background in education.
This session will cover the social model of disability, attitudes and unconscious bias, inclusive education and more.
Our Community of Practice is appropriate for those who have minimal prior knowledge of disability, as well as offering a fresh perspective to those who have significant experience in the sector.
This 2-hour meeting will be held online via Microsoft Teams.
There are two different meeting times you can chose from to attend. You are welcome to attend the session that fits your schedule and time zone.
