100 Leaders Project: Stories of Living
What
The 100 Leaders Project is an online anthology of stories from people who are living good lives. We collected these narratives to help grow understanding of ordinary valued lives, and provide a place (the 100 Leaders Project website) for these stories to be housed.
How we hope it will help
The 100 Leaders Project is not about being a hero, or being the very best at something. It is about people living with disability who have taken control of their own life, who have a vision of what is possible, and who are taking personal action to build the life they want to live.
We believe that sharing information can encourage others to imagine what is possible and to take personal action.
We hope that people living with disability will be inspired by the day-to-day lives of other people. For example, our leaders have stories to tell about taking control of their funding, finding the job that satisfies them, strengthening their communities, living independently in their own homes, and hanging out with mates.
