Join Enabled Youth Disability Network (EYDN) for a free event focused on what young people with disability want to see at future peer networks in the Barossa.
We will be talking about:
- What is important to you?
- What helps you build independence?
- Do you have a favourite activity to do with others?
- Is there a goal you want to achieve?
EYDN meets once a month to explore topics that young people with disability have shared are important to them. This could be anything that builds confidence and supports self-advocacy, for example:
employment, independent living, dancing, understanding the NDIS, relationships, cooking, and more!
This is an in-person event for young people with disability aged 16–35 years old.
- You do not need to be an NDIS participant.
- You do not need to have a diagnosis.
- Disability identity can mean many different things.
EYDN can provide a group support worker if requested, or you are welcome to bring your own support worker to assist with any additional needs to participate.
Please advise your access requirements via ticket registration.
The venue is accessible and LGBTQIA+ friendly.
For any questions, please contact scarlets@purpleorange.org.au or visit the EYDN website to find out more about their work.
