At JFA Purple Orange, we work with the disability community to drive inclusion. We value your voice, your skills, and your lived experience — and we also welcome allies who want to listen, learn, and take action.

Attend our online and in-person events.
Sign up to our opportunities register to take part in research, co-design, focus groups, and speaking opportunities. Many of these are paid opportunities.

What we mean by involvement

We use a few different terms to describe how people can get involved in our work. Here’s what they mean:

Consultation: When we ask for your views on a specific question or option. The project is often already scoped, and your input helps guide decisions.
Co-design: Working with us from the very beginning of a project. You’re involved in shaping, designing, and sometimes evaluating the work. Read more about co-design in our Guide to Co-Design with People with Disability.
Focus groups: Small group discussions that bring together different perspectives on an issue or idea.
Peer networks: Groups of people with disability, families, and allies who come together to share lived experience, build skills, and support each other. Read more about our peer networks.
Events: Workshops, training sessions, and community gatherings where you can connect, learn, and contribute to new ideas. Find out about upcoming events.

When we have opportunities for consultations, co-design, focus groups, and more, we reach out to people on our Opportunities Register.
