First Nations people with disability bring strength, knowledge and leadership. We value collective voices and lived experience. That’s why we’re listening, learning and taking meaningful action. As part of this commitment, we’re implementing our Reconciliation Action Plan and working to understand and challenge systemic discrimination.

Our Reconciliation Action Plan

A strategic priority for the Julia Farr group

We’re working towards true inclusion by centring the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability.

To support this work, the Julia Farr group (of which JFA Purple Orange is a part) is developing a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). This plan shows our commitment to recognising, respecting, and celebrating the enduring connection First Nations people have to Country.

Our RAP is a strategic priority that guides us to build knowledge and grow cultural awareness. It will also help us create a culturally safe, inclusive workplace for First Nations people.

True inclusion means listening to and embedding the voices of First Nations people with disability in all we do.
