At JFA Purple Orange, building an inclusive world starts with our own team. We value every voice, embrace differences, and welcome people to show up as themselves. You’ll join a workplace where connection and mutual support are part of everyday life, and where people bring lived experience, diverse perspectives, and a shared passion for social change.

We offer flexibility so you can balance work and life — with flexible hours, work-from-home options for most roles, and access to adaptive office equipment where possible. If you need adjustments, we’ll discuss them with you to explore what’s achievable.

We welcome applications from people with disability and people from all backgrounds, experiences, abilities, and identities. We design our recruitment process to be barrier-free at every stage.

Alongside paid roles, we welcome expressions of interest to join our board or committees. These are opportunities to shape our work at a strategic level, contribute your expertise, and help advance disability rights and inclusion.

Board member expressions of interest

Join our board

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from people interested in joining one of the Julia Farr group boards.

We welcome applications from people with:

A commitment to disability leadership and inclusion
Professional experience in areas such as finance, construction, philanthropy, or technology
A desire to help shape a more inclusive South Australia

There are three boards within the Julia Farr group:

JFA Purple Orange (Julia Farr Association)
inhousing: focused on inclusive housing and assistive technology
JFM Fund: focused on inclusive grant making and social change

These are volunteer positions working alongside a skilled and values-driven CEO and a team of experienced non-executive directors.

We strongly encourage applications from people with disability, First Nations people, LGBTQIA+ people, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and people with lived experience of socio-economic disadvantage.
