I work with project teams to support our amazing peer networks within intersecting disability communities, including parents, queer and neurodivergent people, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, people living in regional and remote areas, and people involved in self-advocacy. I also oversee Purple Orange’s regional work through operational management and strategic leadership.

I contribute to project and policy work on issues I care deeply about and have professional experience in  – such as the NDIS, violence, abuse and neglect, family and domestic violence, parent education and rights, and health and wellbeing.

One of the most important parts of my role is supporting the people I work with  – to learn alongside each other, collaborate, and stay connected and fulfilled in the work we do. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of a values-led, inclusive workplace, and I do all I can to contribute to that culture.

Some of my most valuable life lessons have come from listening deeply to people with different experiences, identities, communities, and perspectives to my own.

Outside of work, I’m finding my feet in my new role as a mother. I love entertaining, visiting family and friends in regional South Australia, and getting out on the water – especially since I’m lucky enough not to get seasick!
