Disability Inclusion: The Recruitment and Retention Advantage - registration links below
Amidst a skills shortage and rising employee expectations of job flexibility and a supportive workplace, there has never been a better time to embrace disability inclusion and employment. Research shows that one in five of us have a disability or chronic health condition and understanding how to better support your existing workforce could impact on employee retention and productivity.
This lunchtime event will be a Q&A panel discussion. Panellists will share their views on the strategic imperative for inclusion, what it looks like and how it can be achieved. They will recommend practical steps organisations can take to tap into a deeper recruitment pool, develop a more inclusive culture and attract and retain valued employees.
When: 26th October, 12:15 (for 12:30) – 2:00pm
Where: CPA Australia, 10/420 King William St, Adelaide
Cost: $35 includes lunch
This is an opportunity to leverage invaluable networking opportunities and hear about different approaches organisations can take to hiring people living with disability.
Panellists include Jodeen Carney, Commissioner for Equal Opportunity, Government of South Australia; Charles Brice, Reporter, Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC); Liana Reinhardt, Chief People & Strategy Officer, Credit Union SA; and Daniella Biagi CA, Associate Director at BDO.
