Exploring ideas for a stronger, more sustainable NDIS
Between February and August 2023, JFA Purple Orange led the NDIS To the POint Conversation Series — an initiative designed to spark meaningful discussion about the future of the NDIS.
Each fortnight, we released a new paper exploring a key area of reform critical to the work of the NDIS Review Panel. The week after each paper’s release, we hosted a 45-minute lunchtime webinar to open the conversation to the community, inviting questions, feedback and ideas from people with disability, families, and sector professionals.
The series reflected our strong belief that the NDIS is essential to ensuring Australians with disability have access to the same opportunities as everyone else, but that it must be strengthened and sustained. Through this project, we aimed to play a constructive role in shaping reform ideas that help the Scheme deliver on its original promise.
This compilation brings together all 16 discussion papers and captures the rich dialogue they inspired – through the webinars, community engagement, and shared lived experience.
