Teaming up with Our Voice SA

Our Voice SA is a group of people with intellectual or learning disabilities who have come together to empower each other to make a contribution to decisions made by government, institutions, and services that affect their lives. Our Voice SA recently won a NDIS-funded 2-year grant through Information Linkages and Capacity Building (ILC) for a project to support people to engage with the NDIS and connect into community. JFA Purple Orange has come on board to help them with this project. 

We are thrilled to be a part of this important project. Purple Orange will assist Our Voice in developing co-designed information resources, run a one-day peer-led conference and establish peer networks across South Australia. This will include helpful stuff on things such as planning, peer support and achieving goals.

The project will distribute this information in a range of ways to reach as many South Australians living with intellectual disability as possible.
