SA Safeguarding Task Force interim report now available!
The South Australian Safeguarding Task Force was established in May 2020 to investigate gaps in safeguarding practices for people living with disability in SA. The Task Force includes people with lived experience of disability, their family members, service providers and relevant government agencies, as well as disability advocates.
An interim report addressing gaps in safeguarding practices was shared with the Minister for Human Services on 15 June 2020. The report also includes recommendations that can be made to safeguard vulnerable members of the community.
