Community Initiatives
If you feel isolated and want to stay connected socially, friendly volunteers from the Red Cross's Telecross hotline can give you a daily call to check in on your wellbeing. This service is free for adults of all ages.

Women with Disabilities Australia Community
A Facebook group for women, girls (aged 15 years and above), feminine identifying and non-binary people living with disability to share ideas, questions and experiences about living in Australia with a disability
This is a Facebook group for people from migrant or refugee backgrounds who live with a disability. Run by Kin (formerly known as EDAC), this is a safe space from people of diverse backgrounds, or their carers and families, to share their experiences and information.
This is a free online community powered by Starlight Children's Foundation for young people (and their siblings) aged 12 to 20 years and living with disability, serious illness or a chronic health condition. Swap stories, ask for ideas, and talk about whatever’s going on in your life, from operations to issues with friends and family.
