About the Julia Farr group

  • JFA Purple Orange seeks to influence change through advocacy and policy work, and via capacity building projects with people living with disability.

  • Julia Farr MS McLeod Benevolent Fund provides grant funding for projects that advance authentic inclusion for people living with disability

About the role

We’re seeking to recruit an Administration Team Leader to deliver and oversee effective and efficient admin support to our organisation, including executive support to the CEO and senior leadership team.

As someone who is comfortable having multiple priorities on the go, your key measure of success will be ensuring all the administration support needs of our organisation are met, whilst modelling and leading high-quality customer service.

Your strong administration skills mean that you’ll be equally comfortable working with both internal and external customers, and your inclusive leadership style will see administration team members feel supported, effective, and happy in their roles.

In this busy role, no two days will be the same, so you’ll be someone who thrives on variety and loves to problem-solve to ensure day-to-day business runs smoothly.

Ideally, you’ll have previous experience working in an office environment with a hybrid workforce, or be comfortable adapting to this model of working.

If you want to influence positive change, love variety in your work, and want to develop your administration career, we encourage you to apply!

Key work activities

The main work activities of the role include delivering a successful annual program of:

  • prioritised administration support to each of the main operational areas – Purple Orange, inhousing, grant-giving, and governance
  • first point-of-contact services, covering inbox management, incoming calls management, and reception of visitors to premises
  • line support to admin team members
  • executive assistance to CEO
  • coordination of Senior Leadership Team connectivity

You’ll also be responsible for:

  • curating operational policies and protocols
  • curating administration costs to make the most of our resources

Salary range from $75,000, up to $90,000 for a candidate who brings exceptional added value to the role.
