SA’s first Disability Inclusion Plan – have your say!
The consultation period for the South Australian Government’s first Disability Inclusion Plan has now opened.
The State Disability Inclusion Plan is one of the key pillars of the Disability Inclusion Act 2018. The State Plan will set whole-of-government priorities and strategies for achieving a more inclusive South Australia in line with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Through the consultation, people can share their views about what they think should be included in this plan in writing, over the phone or in person until 26 April 2019 – see the YourSAy webpage for more information and the discussion paper.
JFA Purple Orange is facilitating a State-wide consultation to inform this Plan, on behalf of the South Australian Government. We will hold three community forums in metropolitan Adelaide and two in regional areas. These are open to anyone who would like to participate.
