JFA Purple Orange strongly advocated for the Federal Parliament to reject the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026 and, instead, require the Government to fulfil its pledge to genuinely co-design sensible reforms to the Scheme.
We made an initial submission in May 2026 and then updated our response with further recommendations regarding the Interim Report of the Senate Committee investigating the Bill in July 2026. We continue to have grave concerns about the reform process, the rhetoric surrounding it, and the real-life consequences of what is contained within it.
