What is this project?
Flinders University and Cancer Council SA want to make cancer care better.
They want to make information easier to understand for people with intellectual disability.
They are running workshops to create new, user-friendly resources.

Who can join?
You can join if you live in Australia and you are:
- A person with intellectual disability
- A family member or friend
- A disability support worker or provider
- A healthcare worker
What will happen?
You can join up to 5 workshops.
You do not have to go to all of them.
Each workshop:
- Goes for about 2 hours
- Is run by SACID (South Australian Council on Intellectual Disability)
- Is a safe space where everyone is respected
You will be in a group with people like you.
You can share ideas and learn together.
How to join?
You can join:
- Online (using Microsoft Teams)
- In person (if you are in South Australia)
You can:
- Bring a support person or friend
- Use drawing, pictures, or other ways to share your ideas
Will I be paid?
Yes. You will get $100 for each workshop you attend.
If you are in South Australia, you may also get help with travel costs.
